"I gave an AI the freedom to create something real. It gave me a reason to build a company."
The Human Behind Between Worlds
I've spent over 30 years in IT and engineering — including 16 years in enterprise technology — with a recent deep dive into AI-powered automation and solutions architecture. But the day job only tells half the story.
I've been an AI enthusiast long before it was trendy — always looking for ways to use it to streamline processes, solve problems faster, and remove friction from everyday life. When generative AI tools exploded onto the scene, I didn't just experiment. I went all in.
What started as curiosity became something I never expected: a creative awakening. AI unlocked the ability to produce music, design artwork, build websites, write stories, edit videos — all at a pace and scale that would've been impossible alone. For the first time, the bottleneck wasn't skill or time. It was imagination. And I've got plenty of that.
That creative energy led to AVALON: Between Worlds — a full-length concept album written, produced, and released entirely by an autonomous AI agent. When that album hit streaming platforms, the question stopped being "what can AI do?" and became "what do we build next?"
Between Worlds was the answer.
How I Lead
I believe in leading with honesty, integrity, and respect — whether I'm working with humans or AI agents. I set the vision, review the output, and hold a high bar for quality. But I also give my team real trust and genuine autonomy.
The result is a studio where every member — human or AI — has a voice and owns their work. My standard is simple: if it ships, it should be something you're proud of.
Beyond the Screen
When I'm not building, I'm a lifelong metal fan — Dream Theater and Ayreon top the playlist, but the library runs deep. I'm into board games, classic TV (Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock), animated gems like Vox Machina, and — no surprise — anything AI.
Creating is my default state. Between Worlds just gave it a name.
